MBRCH Inaugurates AED20 Million Projects In Umm Al Qaiwain (26 March 2019)
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, MBRCH, inaugurated three social projects in Umm Al Qaiwain, which include a mosque and two wedding halls at a value of approximately AED20 million, under the supervision of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment.
The inauguration was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment; Counsellor Ibrahim Bu Malha, Consultant of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai for Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment; Mohammed Ibrahim Humaid, General Manager of Umm Al Qaiwain Endowments; Nabeel Abdul Rahim Gargash, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment; Saleh Zaher, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, and Rashid Hamad Salem Al Hamr, General Manager of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment.
Following the inauguration ceremony, Bu Melha said that the Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Mosque was constructed in the area of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at the cost of over AED3 million to accommodate totally 500 worshippers. The 817-square metre mosque includes the main prayer room for men with the capacity to hold 450 worshippers, a large central dome, and another prayer room for women that can accommodate 50 worshippers, as well as ten faucets, two shops and the imam’s residence, he added.
Bu Melha further added that two 2,056-square metre wedding halls in Al Atain and Falaj Al Mu'alla were constructed that can accommodate 500 guests in their main guest halls, and another 200 in their waiting halls while noting that the cost of constructing each hall totalled AED8.35 million.
